With a genuine passion for entrepreneurship, Ayman accumulated +25 years of engineering and managerial experience in the semiconductor industry. As one of the founders of Si-Ware Systems in 2004, he assumed several roles including VP of ASIC Engineering 2015 – 2017, VP of ASIC Marketing & Business Development 2017 – 2019 then initiated the Timing BU and spun it out as Pearl Semiconductor in 2020. Ayman has notable contributions in the Timing industry such as leading the MEMS-Based Programmable Clock Generator Development program for Discera (Microchip) and the invention and development of the CMOS only LC-Based Self-Compensated Oscillator (SCO). Ayman holds 10 patents and received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics and communication engineering from Ain-Shams University, Cairo, Egypt in 1994 and 2002 respectively.

Mostafa has +15 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing and Sales in Semiconductor products and services. He is currently VP of Marketing and Business Development at Pearl Semiconductor. Prior to working at Pearl, he was Director of Sales and Business Development, ASIC and Timing Business Units, at Si-Ware Systems from 2014 to 2020. Mostafa was the founder and CEO of SilMinds from 2007 – 2014. He has an MBA from the American University in Cairo and B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, all with Summa Cum Laude and holds 4 US patents.

Mohamed has +28 years of experience in R&D of Analog/Mixed-Signal design and is currently VP of Engineering at Pearl Semiconductor. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt, in 1992 and 1995, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Paris VI, Paris, France, in 2001. Mohamed has both a strong technical and research background as a professor at Ain Shams University. Prior to working at Pearl, he spent more than 16 years with Mentor Graphics managing teams developing certified high-speed serial links front-end for USB, PCI-Express and SATA IP products and advanced analog EDA tools. He holds 4 patents and has published +110 conference and journal papers.

Ahmed has +20 years of experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal and RF IC design and engineering management. He is currently leading Pearl’s offshore design center (ODC) in Malaysia. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Symmid Corporation Sdn Bhd (2014 - 2020) and Engineering Manager at Si-Vision (2007 - 2013) leading teams developing IPs and chipsets in low power RF and SERDES markets. Ahmed has also worked as an RF/Analog designer for LSI, Mentor Graphics and MEMSACP.
